This policy covers V SPA Italian Beauty & Wellness, 233 Turpin Road, Labrador QLD 4215. It explains how personal information is handled when you use this website or book a treatment with us.
What this website collects
This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not run any tracking scripts.
The website enquiry form is provided by our third-party client-management platform. When you submit it, information such as your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you want and anything you write in the message field is sent to that platform and passed to us. We use it to answer your enquiry and help arrange an appointment.
Online booking
The online booking calendar is still being connected. Once live, it will use the same client-management platform to collect booking details and send appointment confirmations and reminders.
What we collect when you book or visit
- Contact details so we can confirm, remind or reschedule your appointment.
- Treatment history, meaning what you have had done and when, so a skin or body plan can carry across visits.
- Health information you choose to tell us, such as a pregnancy, a recent surgery, an allergy, a skin sensitivity or an injury. We ask for this because it determines whether a treatment is safe and appropriate for you. You do not have to tell us anything, but we may not be able to perform a treatment without it.
Who else can see it
- Our booking and client-management provider, which stores appointment and contact records on our behalf and sends confirmations and reminders.
- Our web host, which serves the pages of this site.
- Google Fonts and the jsDelivr content network, which serve the typefaces and the animation libraries this site uses. Loading a page sends your IP address and browser details to those services, as it does for any site that loads a resource from them.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Appointment and treatment records are kept for as long as needed to run the business and to meet our record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your details and there is no obligation to retain them, we will.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the spa on 0406 545 882 and we will handle it directly. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, raise it with us first on 0406 545 882. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated when online booking is connected and whenever else our handling of personal information changes. The date at the top shows the last revision.
